Printing Industry Veteran Scott Hayes Named VP of Sales for McCormick Armstrong
WICHITA, Kan. — August 24, 2016 — McCormick Armstrong, a commercial printer with web, sheetfed and digital capabilities, direct mail, catalog, fulfillment, distribution, and other specialty branding, has named printing industry veteran Scott Hayes as VP of sales. Hayes comes to Wichita from Kansas City, where he held similar sales management positions with several of the region’s largest full service printing and fulfillment firms, including the Richardson Group and Lehigh Direct (recently acquired by SG360⁰).
“Scott’s background covers the full spectrum of web and digital printing, direct mail, packaging and fulfillment,” explains John Bobbitt, president of McCormick Armstrong. “We’ve recently added digital and variable data printing to our service line, which expands our capabilities well beyond the sheetfed and web press work we’ve traditionally been known for. We’re excited to have Scott leading the sales force as we introduce our new digital capabilities to the national marketplace.”
Hayes holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts with emphasis in management and sales from the University of Central Missouri.
“My focus is on helping customers produce strategic marketing campaigns that produce results and meet or exceed ROI expectations,” Hayes says. “Using variable data to personalize direct mail, invitations, political campaign mailers and a host of other materials is just one of the creative ways we can do that. With McCormick Armstrong’s new digital equipment, we can compete with virtually any commercial printer in the country when it comes to service, price, timeliness and quality.”
The privately held, 114-year-old McCormick Armstrong is a state-of-the-art award-winning full-service digital, sheet-fed and web printing organization. Strategically located in the Midwest, McCormick Armstrong offers Supply Chain Management, Warehousing and Fulfillment, Database Management, Mail Distribution and more. Through its wholly owned Kansas City, Kan. subsidiary OnPoint, McCormick Armstrong also produces coffee table books, designs custom branded specialty items and offers international sourcing.
