PrintComm and Image Reproductions Joining Forces as WildfireXM
DALLAS—Dec. 1, 2011—PrintComm Inc. CEO Chuck Dickinson and Image Reproductions CEO Greg K. Wood have signed a binding letter of intent to merge their operations into a newly formed company, WildfireXM. The union will provide a wider range of tools to their combined client rosters, while retooling the combined business for the direction customers are leaning in the future. The companies plan to merge operations into a single facility during the first quarter of 2012.
Chuck Dickinson, who will assume the role of CEO and Chief Marketing Officer, said, “Clients today need a broader range of communications/marketing print options with more efficient back-office workflow to keep their costs down. Combining our companies will add capabilities and it doubles our commitment to developing even more leading edge web-to-print and integrated marketing services.”
Greg Wood, who will be Chief Financial Officer, added, “We have two long time DFW print providers who are committed to providing great service and products, but also are willing to invest in the technologies needed to keep up with our clients rapidly evolving needs. We plan to offer conventional printing options and even unconventional tools when they are appropriate. We are focusing on getting results for our clients, not selling them print.”
