Print Perfect Hires Jason McSweeney to Expand Its Digital, Marketing Capabilities
BATAVIA, IL—May 24, 2012—Print Perfect, Chicagoland’s premier commercial printing company, has hired Jason McSweeney as print and marketing specialist to oversee an enhancement of its capabilities focused on value-added digital marketing services.
“The printing press was the original computer,” said Print Perfect President and Co-Founder Frank Babich. “Now, it’s enjoying a renaissance thanks to the adoption of notebooks, tablets and smartphones, which allow companies to maximize their marketing reach by combining the efficiency of digital technology with the proven efficacy of printed media.
“To the benefit of our clients and their customers, Print Perfect is embracing this blended approach. With his multidimensional experience and breadth of expertise—both online and offline—Jason is the ideal person to lead the transition.”
McSweeney, an award-winning writer who was named first-place winner in VIBE magazine’s creative writing contest and WCKG Radio Chicago’s commercial writing contest, has 15 years of experience in the graphic arts industry. Prior to joining Print Perfect, he was president of his own advertising, creative promotions and graphic/web design firm, dream ink of Downers Grove, IL, which he founded in 2008. Before that, McSweeney held sales and marketing positions with the nation’s largest wholesale and retail printing companies.
In his new position, McSweeney plans to draw on his experience in sales, marketing, account management, printing, graphic design and website development to further enhance and evolve Print Perfect’s digital marketing services.
“I’m ecstatic to be working with Print Perfect,” he said. “Its reputation for extreme value and superlative service is known industry-wide. My goal is to leverage its status as a best-in-class printer to create a holistic approach to promotions that integrates printing, branding and digital marketing in order to maximize our clients’ ROI.”
Print Perfect already has expanded its offerings to include more integration of direct mail with Internet marketing via QR codes and other digital tools, including Every Door Direct Mail, a postage-saving tool for direct-mail marketing from the U.S. Postal Service. Under McSweeney’s leadership, it also has initiated an internal campaign to expand its own web presence, starting with a website redesign that’s expected to launch later this year.
To complement its digital expansion, the company also has installed a new Konica Monica digital printing press that increases its capabilities to accommodate faster and smaller full-color print runs.
“It’s all about the customer,” Babich says. “Every addition we make to our staff, our services and our equipment positions us to be not only a vendor, but also a partner in our clients’ businesses. We recognize that the world is changing. We’re responding so that our customers can continue reaching their prospects—wherever they are and whatever media they’re using.”
