NEW YORK - July 2, 2018 - Printing Industries Alliance announced that its DIGITAL PRINT THINK TANK III is being enhanced and rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019. Its primary presentation sponsors remain on board and its venue remains the same. The event will take place in Manhattan at Club 101, located at 101 Park Avenue, New York, N.Y., at 40th Street. There are still a few prime presentation sponsor slots available. Call or email Marty Maloney today to schedule your slot at 203-912-0804 or mmaloney@pialliance.org.
Several of PIA's committed presentation sponsors and a few prospective presentation sponsors had conflicts and said they would prefer a later date. The value of the February event will be enhanced by limiting the number of presentation sponsors to 10 and increasing the number of printers in attendance. This event will be the third Digital Print Think Tank. The first Think Tank was held in October 2015 and had an attendance of 110; the second Think Tank was held in July 2017 and had an attendance of 150, including printers, vendors and media. We are shooting to increase this number on Feb. 21, 2019 and will focus on increasing the number of printers. We will be including printers from throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
2017 presentation sponsors included Xerox, HP, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, EFI, Komori, Screen, Canon, Kodak, Xeikon and Heidelberg.
The event will cut across all digital printing technologies from the simplest to inkjet and all applications will be discussed including direct mail, books, labels & packaging and wide-format. The presentations will be interspersed by discussion panels that will include a panel of digital printers and end-users and also a panel of digital press manufacturers.
Presentation sponsors will typically be press manufacturers and non-presentation sponsors will be paper, finishing, software, color and others supporting the digital print industry.
