Panozzo to Head Banta's Print Divisions
MENASHA, WI—With new President and CEO Stephanie Streeter in place, Banta Corp. moved to solidify its senior leadership chain by naming three executive appointments. Included in the mix is the creation of a president to head the company's four printing divisions.
Larry L. Panozzo, Banta Commercial Print Group president, was promoted to Banta Print Sector president, a newly created position responsible for all four of Banta's print divisions—the Book, Publications, Direct Marketing and Catalog groups. In his most recent position, Panozzo was responsible for the company's Publications, Direct Marketing and Catalog groups.
Ronald J. Musil, Banta Book Group president, was named executive vice president of Banta and will relocate to Banta's corporate headquarters.
Robert A. Kreider, executive vice president and general manager of the Banta Book Group, will succeed Musil as Book Group president, reporting to Panozzo.
Streeter feels Banta's print sector organizational realignment and the Book Group's leadership succession is a natural progression.
"For some time, the Banta Corp. has been in a state of evolution and organizational progression toward creating a single print sector," she says. "This organizational progression has steadily advanced our efforts to be a recognized single source, multiple-solutions provider to our print customers. Over the past several years, we have made significant progress cross-selling print and imaging services among our four print groups. Larry brings to this position a unique combination of proven leadership, operating talent, deep marketplace expertise, financial acumen and exceptional knowledge of Banta Corp."
