Docucopies.com Negotiates Shipping Discounts, Cuts Costs by Up to 35 Percent
HUDSON, WI—Oct. 01, 2012—When looking for discounted prices on products and services, there seems to be an unwritten rule that there’s always a trade-off: you either have to sacrifice quality, speed of service, or both. But that has never been the case with Docucopies.com, and this month the online digital printing and color copying company is giving customers even more incentive to use their services: deeply discounted shipping costs.
Due to its large shipping volume, the management at Docucopies.com has been able to negotiate significantly discounted prices with UPS. its new pricing model lowers costs by as much as 35 percent and more.
This price drop comes on the heels of other efforts the company has taken to make their services more attractive to a larger pool of consumers. Earlier this year Docucopies.com opened a production center in Central California, which shortened the shipping time to one business day for nearly all of the Golden State. And since all jobs over $150 get free ground shipping, the ever-appealing phrase “Free 1-Day Shipping to California” has become a common theme for their promotional materials.
But until the company opens another production center in the eastern part of the United States, this drop in prices should entice their deadline-laden clientele in the south and east more than anyone.
“Sometimes a customer in New York City needs a job in-hand tomorrow and cannot wait for ground shipping,” says Vice President/Marketing Director Jeff Corbo. “Offering overnight shipping at a 35-percent discount will help clients meet their deadlines without breaking the bank.”
