Indiana Facility to Close, Costing 150 Jobs
TERRE HAUTE, IN—Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS), headquartered in New York City, will close its plant here by year's end, the Indianapolis Business Journal reported. The closure will result in the loss of about 150 jobs.
MPS acquired the Terre Haute facility from rival Ivy Hill in 2009. The plant specializes in printing and packaging products for the audio and video media markets, but ongoing changes in those markets prompted the decision to close, the newspaper reported.
The company has more than a dozen manufacturing locations in the United States and Europe, serving the cosmetics, health care, consumer and media markets.
