Docucopies.com Opens West Coast Facility
HUDSON, WI—Online printing company Docucopies.com has expanded its geographic footprint to ensure that West Coast customers will have a shorter turnaround time in order to receive their color copies and digital printing products.
In March, the company began leasing a building in San Luis Obispo, CA, which will help provide West Coast clients with a faster delivery than the four business days it takes product to be delivered from Docucopies.com's headquarters in western Wisconsin. This new location is positioned in the middle of the state to provide free one-day UPS ground shipping to nearly all of California, which is the company’s biggest state for sales. Management anticipates a huge jump in growth and market share from this move.
“This is great news, not just for us but for thousands of our clients and thousands more potential clients who’ve been put off by the long delivery time in the past,” says Docucopies.com Vice President and Marketing Director Jeff Corbo.
The new location will serve strictly as a production center. Most of the behind-the-scenes work, such as IT maintenance, customer service and general management, will still be carried out from the printer’s Midwest headquarters.
