Melissa Data to Showcase New Products and Solutions
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA—August, 2007—At Graph Expo, Melissa Data will be demonstrating its new MAILERS Suite and NCOALink® change-of-address move updating capabilities at booth #2293. Visitors to Melissa Data’s booth will learn how Melissa Data’s solutions, including address verification, advanced presorting and move updating will save them postage and time when preparing USPS® mailings.
MAILERS Suite
“At Graph Expo, we’ll introduce our MAILERS API toolkit to printing and mailing professionals interested in automating mailings for their customers for maximum postal discounts,” said Melissa Data marketing director Greg Brown. The savings realized are truly worth investigating. For example, a 10,000 piece mailing sorted by MAILERS Suite would be eligible for $1000 less in postage than the regular rate.”
This new, customizable API suite integrates the power of Address Object to verify addresses and add CASS Certified™ ZIP + 4® codes using the DPV™ and LACSLink™ systems (now mandatory for discounted mailings). Then, the MAILERS Suite completes the process via the Presort Object which sorts the mail pieces for the lowest First-Class Mail® rates possible.
“With the nature of competition in the marketplace, businesses simply cannot afford to cut back on their direct mail campaigns, yet rising postal costs can make this a challenge,” explains Brown. “Businesses can be sure that their mailings are getting delivered at the best possible rates when they process their lists with the MAILERS Suite.”
48- and 24-Month Change-of-Address Move Updating
Recently Melissa Data became one of only a handful of NCOALink Full Service Providers licensed by the USPS to update third party mailings and customer files against the full 48-month change-of-address file containing over 160 million change-of address-records.
NCOALink updates the addresses of customers who have moved, improving mail deliverability and reducing the costs and time required to forward mail. NCOALink, a mandatory requirement for First-Class Mail automation and presort discounts, will become mandatory for Standard Mail® as well in 2008.
