PrintWorkers.com Teams Up With Printing Impressions
Leading Internet-based job board for printing, copy, and web professionals provides new access to staffing services
BOSTON, MA—February 26, 2007—Printworkers.com and Printing Impressions announced today the launch of a co-branded job board at jobs.piworld.com. Within the next month, Printworkers.com will launch co-branded job boards for three other North American Publishing (NAPCO) Printing Group sites: Package Printing (www.packageprinting.com), BFL&S (www.bfls.com), and In-Plant Graphics (www.ipgonline.com), further expanding its ability to fulfill job openings. Printworkers.com expects the partnership with the NAPCO Printing Group to be its best resource, yet, to help those in the print industry find capable employees.
PrintWorkers.com, an Internet job board for print, copy and Web professionals, announces that activity on its web site has grown at a rapid pace, while the company continues to build upon its recent industry-related initiatives. In calendar year 2006, Printworkers.com enjoyed sales growth of an impressive 66%. Given current activity levels, the company expects growth in 2007 to be at least 25% on an annualized basis.
Printworkers.com was launched in 2000. Three years later, the company built a partnership with the PIA/GATF, allowing members access to Printworkers.com staffing resources—at a membership discount—directly from the www.gain.net web site. As time has progressed, the company has provided similar services to local PIA chapters. Most notably, in 2005, PrintWorkers.com donated all programming time and costs towards an online resume bank for all Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF) recipients. Recipients are able to post their resumes and are searchable for free by all PIA/GATF members. The resumes of each graduating class will be accessible, free of charge, for one year.
“Having grown up in the graphic arts industry, we at PrintWorkers.com understand the industry’s struggle to find quality employees. There is only one way we can be assured that Printworkers.com is the best solution for companies to refer to. We spend an inordinate amount of resources recruiting exceptional talent—which assures the success of our web site. Not many companies would be willing to work with us if our database could not provide qualified candidates,” comments Brian Regan, Chief Operating Officer at PrintWorkers.com. “We are able to enjoy these high profile, successful co-branding partnerships because we can demonstrate a better posting success rate. We focus on maintaining the quality of the board, which assures that when printers post jobs, they get results.”
“We searched long and hard for a partner to help us with the job board on PIWorld.com,” added Dave Leskusky, Group President, Publishing Director for NAPCO’s Printing Group. “Our relationship with PrintWorkers allows us to greatly enhance what we offer on PIWorld.com and all of our Web sites, and provides tremendous value to our readers and our advertisers.”
