MONTREAL—Natalie Larivière has been appointed president of Transcontinental Media, a subsidiary of Transcontinental Inc. that comprises its magazine and newspaper publishing operations, as well as door-to-door distribution of advertising material and digital media. The operation has more than 3,000 employees and posted annual revenues of $555 million in 2005.
“In our Media Sector, we are actively pursuing a strategy of market consolidation, new product and service development, and dissemination of our content across multiple digital platforms, and Ms. Larivière is the ideal candidate to intensify the implementation of this strategy,” says Luc Desjardins, president and CEO of Transcontinental Inc.
