Komori America Announces Organizational Changes
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—November 4, 2008—Komori Corp. announced that Stephan Carter, president and COO of Komori America Corp., will be leaving Komori America effective November 30, 2008. “While I will miss my association with Komori, I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead,” says Carter. During his seven year tenure at Komori America, Carter effectively launched the Komori Lithrone S series and drove significant growth of market share across all product lines.
Effective December 1, 2008, Carter is appointed the president and CEO of Hudson North America. Hudson is a leading provider of permanent recruitment, contract professionals and talent management services worldwide. In his new position, Carter will be responsible for Hudson North America’s long term strategic direction and growth across all of the regional business units, including IT, legal, financial solutions and recruitment and talent management.

Kazuyoshi “Kosh” Miyao will replace Carter as president and COO of Komori America. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, Miyao is well known in the graphic arts industry. Throughout his more than twenty year tenure at Komori America, Miyao has played a key role in the technical, product design, service, sales and marketing of Komori products. Active in industry associations, Miyao has been a member of NPES, and served two terms on the association’s board of directors. He was also instrumental in the implementation of six sigma in the parts and service departments of Komori America.
Mr. Komori states, “Mr. Miyao has played a significant role in the establishment of the Komori brand in North America, and I am confident that his knowledge and expertise from manufacturing to marketing will help us achieve even greater growth.”
