Japs-Olson Achieves G7 Master Qualification in Color Management on Sheetfed, Web Platforms
MINNEAPOLIS — February 27, 2017 — Japs-Olson Company, a print and direct mail production provider for over 100 years, has received the 2017 G7 Master Qualification in Color Management certification awarded by Idealliance. The designation, which Japs-Olson first achieved in 2009 for its sheetfed presses and in 2010 for its web platform, means that the Company uses G7 press calibration technology to assure a visual match from proof to print on all its presses.

In addition, the G7 process has been shown to save make-ready time and reduce paper waste.
“Quality and repeatability are important to our customers,” said Japs-Olson CEO Mike Beddor. “Our commitment to the G7 method is just one example of how we’re maximizing our performance, to the benefit of our customers.
