Edward "Pete" Armstrong, chairman of McCormick-Armstrong Co., died Monday at the age of 88, the Wichita Journal reported. Mr. Armstrong joined the firm co-founded by his father and took over as president and CEO in 1968. Prior to his death, Armstong served as chairman and director of McCormick-Armstrong and its subsidiaries, High Plains Publishers of Dodge City, KS, and Terrell Publishing of Kansas City, MO. Mr. Armstrong served as president of the Printing Industries of Wichita and the Printing Industries of Mid-America.
