Printing Consultant and Writer Gorelick Passes
WEST CHESTER, PA—Dick Gorelick, president of the consulting firm Gorelick and Associates, as well as a noted industry writer and speaker, passed away Sept. 12, his company announced. Funeral arrangements were said to be pending.
Mr. Gorelick was also president of the Graphic Arts Sales Foundation, a not-for-profit, industry-supported organization dedicated to industry-specific education in non-technological disciplines. He had 48 years of experience in printing and publishing and was a nationally known writer and speaker in the areas of sales, marketing, management, strategy and industry futures. Gorelick and Associates clients include printers, print-buying organizations, binderies, governments, trade associations, manufacturers, distributors, paper mills and in-plant print shops.
As a tribute to Mr. Gorelick, his team (with the approval of Dick's wife, Myrna) intends to publish a final newsletter with the content he had been preparing. Some room will also be allowed "for those of you who knew Dick well to share some vignette or testimonial that captures the essence of who Dick was as a consultant, friend, mentor, teacher and speaker."
