ANDOVER, Mass. — December 15, 2016 — In February 2017, Hunkeler will hold Innovationdays for the 12th time in Lucerne, Switzerland at the Messe Lucerne exhibition facility. The premier industry event in high performance digital printing, Innovationdays will feature groundbreaking innovations, exciting world debuts, and a full range of practical solutions. As always, the show will see top subject matter experts from more than 80 industry leaders converge on Lucerne in a showcase of the latest products and cutting-edge technologies. Innovationdays strives to bring clarity to current trends and the newest developments, as well as how these interplay in real world production environments. Because of these distinctive emphases, the event fosters unique opportunities for visitors to discover, learn, and share in an unparalleled setting.
Over 40 innovative practical solutions will be on hand at the show across two exhibition halls, with workflow focuses including transaction and transpromo printing, direct mail production, security printing, and graphic arts applications such as books, brochures, and newspapers. Innovationdays 2017 will give you a preview of Hunkeler’s next machine generation, featuring advances in automation, new modules for processing paper widths of up to 22.5 inches, and much more. Helping to round out the exhibition program is a suite of finishing solutions from industry leader Horizon of Japan, including automated book manufacturing, saddlestitching, and folding.
Nearly 6,000 visitors from over 50 nations traveled to Lucerne for Innovationdays 2015, and the 2017 event is expected to build on that success and set new attendance records. Despite continual growth, Innovationdays planners have worked hard to maintain the open, intimate, and engaging atmosphere that has been a hallmark of the show since its inception. “We’re not aiming just for a bigger show and audience. We want to attract the right people: print professionals dedicated to understanding and participating in the future of digital printing,” explained Stefan Hunkeler, President, Hunkeler AG. “Our slogan ‘reaching the summit together’ refers to the special, collegial atmosphere of Innovationdays, where visitors discover and share innovative ideas, practices, and solutions with colleagues old and new alike!”
