HAGERSTOWN, MD—August 13, 2012—HBP Inc., a mid-Atlantic integrated communications company, has announced the purchase of certain assets of Whitmore Print and Imaging by a corporate subsidiary of HBP.
In business for over 100 years, HBP provides communication tools through integrated solutions, including print, multichannel marketing services and a customized fulfillment operation. Whitmore has been providing high-quality printing services for 65 years, and this acquisition will offer its customers access to an even broader range of printing services and solutions.
“This acquisition is a strategic part of our aim to become the mid-Atlantic region’s leading integrated communications company. Our services include technology and marketing solutions, such as mobile and website development, data integration and data capture services, multichannel marketing, customized storefronts, digital and conventional print, and wide-format printing, along with traditional mailing and fulfillment services,” stated John Snyder, president of HBP.
“As our customers’ needs continue to change and evolve, we are ready to support them. It is critical to have a strategic focus on our customer’s goals and provide the resources and people to help them achieve those goals along with the ability to measure their results,” Snyder added.
“I know that Whitmore has always had the same core values as HBP—excellent customer service combined with a passion to build integrated and measurable solutions. We look forward to offering Whitmore’s clients an expanded array of products and services. The HBP group of companies now has locations in Baltimore, Bethesda, Falls Church, and Hagerstown,” he continued.
“The HBP group of companies is pleased to add the talents of George Shenk, Steve Shenk, and Jay Goldscher. With so many years of industry experience and an excellent understanding of Whitmore’s customers, they add an exciting additional dimension to our team.”
