Gilman Brothers Installs G3 Zund Digital Cutter at Its Customer Experience Center
GILMAN, Conn.—May 19, 2015—The Gilman Brothers Co. and Zünd have entered into a strategic alliance that changes the face of product development. With the installation of the G3 Zünd digital cutter at its new Customer Experience Center (CEC), Gilman Brothers and Zünd have created an invaluable symbiotic relationship. Gilman achieves the 24/7 use of a Zünd high-scale cutter for testing of products on a variety of materials, and in return, Gilman Brothers offers Zünd a sound manufacturing infrastructure where they will have an East Coast demonstration location and facility to better serve existing and potential clients. "Having a Zünd at our HQ allows for immediate response to customer needs such as prototyping, design, comparison testing and unlimited flexibility working with designers around the globe," said Bill VanHorn, director of sales, Gilman Brothers.
Zünd supports thousands of customers all over the United States and Canada, in graphics, packaging, leather, textiles/composites, manufacturing, and other industries that rely on Zünd cutters for precise, efficient digital cutting. "Between Gilman’s rigid materials and Zünd's versatility with cutting, anything is possible to create," stated Dan Cantrell, national sales manager, Zünd America.
Together, Gilman Brothers and Zünd are able to offer their customers professional solutions for producing signage, intricate lettering, tradeshow exhibits or complex 3D displays using INFINITY as well as vinyl, cardboard, polypropylene, acrylic, foamboard or wood.
