Fort Orange Press Increases Sales 50 Percent, Adds 18 Employees
ALBANY, NY—June 14, 2011—As a result of its continued expansion and recent $2 million investment in equipment, facility and technology upgrades, along with its strategic alliance with The Pressroom of Ballston Spa, NY, Fort Orange Press has added 18 employees. The positions are across the company, in sales, customer service, estimating, electronic prepress, digital print production, offset print production, bindery and shipping/logistics operations.
Robert F. Witko, president of Fort Orange Press, commented, “Over the past two years we have made significant investments in all areas of the company to ready ourselves for this type of expansion.” Joining the Fort Orange Press team are the following professionals:
Gregory Desidoro, director of marketing, Business Development—Greg has spent more than 20 years selling offset and digital printing, most recently as a sales representative at The PressRoom in Ballston Spa, NY, and Finlay Printing in Bloomfield, CT.
Michael Glenn, print sales consultant—A Graduate of RIT in Graphic Arts Management, Mike has been servicing clients in the Capital District print market for more than 30 years. He speaks on the subject of printing with business groups and universities about the ever changing printing industry and its processes.
Lola Swan, customer service representative—Lola egan her professional career in 1988 at The PressRoom, Ballston Spa, NY. She handles in excess of $3 million in sales annually as a customer service consultant.
Dave Stewart, estimator—A graduate of Hartwick College, Dave brings to Fort Orange more than 35 years of experience in the graphic arts industry. As previous owner of Coneco Laser Graphics in Glens Falls, NY, Dave honed his skills as vice president of operations at the South Glens Falls, NY-based Web Graphics.
