FetterGroup Reports Revenue Spike in First Quarter, Jobs Created
LOUISVILLE, KY—April 5, 2012—FetterGroup posted a 25-percent increase in total revenue for the first quarter of 2012, compared to the same period in 2011. Much of the growth is a direct result of recent expansions in the organization’s digital “print-on-demand” capabilities and Web-based storefronts.
“Investing in the latest technology and creating tools to help our customers do their business more efficiently and improve their sales with more immediate results is what drives everything we do at FetterGroup,” says company President and CEO Terry Gill.
FetterGroup boasts one the region’s largest digital print capacities and experienced record throughput in the first quarter of 2012. A diverse client base contributed to the increase in volume.
“Our major packaging clients, Benjamin-Moore, PPG, Sherwin Williams, drove much of the demand for digital print in the first quarter,” explains Ted Hagler, FetterGroup evp of operations. “Kodak has confirmed we set a record for its NexPress installations in the region with 2.3 million pieces produced in the last 30 days.”
In an effort to build on this tremendous momentum, FetterGroup has hired 13 new full-time employees and will look to fill an additional five to 10 positions during the second quarter.
