Excell Color Graphics Seeks Tax Abatement to Support Digital Press Install
FORT WAYNE, IN—Dec. 8, 2011—Excell Color Graphics announced that it is planning to invest approximately $371,940 in new equipment and bring on one additional employee as a result of the project. The Kodak Nexpress SX2700 digital color press is expected to be installed in January 2012.
The company currently has 31 full-time employees and will add one employee by March 2012. Excell is asking the Fort Wayne Common Council to consider a $23,664 tax abatement for the company, which would be phased over 10 years.
“Adding the new digital press will enable us to expand and refine our current capabilities,” stated Tom Parrot, president of Excell Color Graphics. “With this investment, we can better serve our current clients, as well as position ourselves to reach out to new cliental.”
“Tax Abatement is not only an incentive for new businesses; it helps existing Fort Wayne businesses grow too. I’m glad to see quality companies like Excell Color Graphics, Inc. take advantage of tax abatements and grow its company through state-of-the-art equipment that will meet customer needs while at the same time adding new jobs,” stated Mayor Tom Henry.
