Machine Part Falls on Connecticut Post Press Worker

A worker at the Connecticut Post press plant is in critical condition Friday morning after an accident late Thursday night involving a piece of machinery. Greg Scinto, 63, was injured when part of the platemaking machine he was working on came down on him and trapped him.

Ron Darr, the director of operations at the plant, said Scinto was alert when taken to the hospital. Other employees at the plant said Scinto may have suffered rib injuries in the incident, which took place at about 11:30 p.m.
