Continuous Improvement Conference Set for April 2012
PITTSBURGH—Dec. 1, 2011—Printing Industries of America will be holding the 2012 Continuous Improvement Conference April 1-4, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch in St. Louis, MO.
The event has grown in size in recent years and is an excellent resource for companies seeking operational excellence through Lean manufacturing and other improvement systems. The two dozen sessions delve into many aspects of continuous improvement, from basic to advanced, ensuring that all attendees take home ideas they can put into practice.
Sandy Kampen of Suttle-Straus commented about the 2011 event, “I walked away with many great ideas on how we can continue to improve our business and operations.”
Three tracks are available to attendees: Leadership and Culture, Process and Tools-Advanced, and Process and Tools-Fundamental.
“Whether executives are seeking a new approach to involve employees or managers looking for ways to cut out wasted time and materials, attendees will have new insight into how to gain competitive advantage,” said Jim Workman, assistant vice president of the Center for Technology and Research at Printing Industries of America.
This is the only conference in the printing industry to help usher printers along the path of continuous improvement. It features plenty of networking opportunities, talks from authorities in operational excellence, and case studies revealing how print companies develop a continuous improvement culture, apply lean concepts, and improve performance indicators.
