BCC Software Adds Bob Schimek to Leadership Team
ROCHESTER, NY—03/16/09—BCC Software, a BÖWE BELL + HOWELL company and a leading developer of high-performance solutions for professional mailers, announces the addition of Bob Schimek to its leadership team. Schimek, a veteran software developer with nearly two decades of experience in mailing technology innovations, will become BCC’s Director of Commercial Mail Solutions on Monday, March 16, 2009.

Schimek’s duties as Director of Commercial Mail Solutions will involve helping the company visualize and achieve programming goals in keeping with upcoming major postal initiatives. These include the further development of USPS® Intelligent Mail® Services, in line with the Postal Service™ rollout schedule for that technology; and continuing enhancement of BCC’s product line with regard to interfacing with the USPS PostalOne!® electronic data system.
A graduate of St. Mary’s College (Winona, MN), Schimek is an acknowledged thought leader on postal industry issues. He is co-chair of the IDEAlliance Mail.dat workgroup, and has extensive experience working directly with key USPS personnel on clarifying modifications to postal rules and regulations. Schimek was most recently Director of Commercial Mail Development for SAP Business Objects of La Crosse, WI. He lives in Onalaska, WI, but will be relocating to BCC’s Rochester, NY, headquarters.
