Zunich's wife was accused of doctoring the financial records to make the proceeds appear to be legitimate income. The Zunichs took bets on college and pro football as well as college basketball, with John Zunich acting as the bookie. The sports book operation took place between 2002 and 2012.
More than $600,000 in gambling proceeds were forfeited. Racketeering carries a 20-year penalty. The couple is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 5.
