Alcom Printing Group, a full-service commercial printing, direct mail, fulfillment and marketing services provider, announced its acquisition of PDQ Print Center, a respected print-on-demand and fulfillment company serving clients throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond.
The acquisition brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to responsive service, lasting client relationships and high-quality work. PDQ clients will continue working with the people they know and trust while gaining access to Alcom’s broader production capabilities, technology and operational resources.
“PDQ has built an outstanding reputation by taking great care of its clients and creating a culture centered on service,” said Don Eichman, CEO of Alcom Printing Group. “This acquisition is about building upon that foundation. We are excited to welcome the PDQ team to Alcom and provide them with the additional tools, technology and support needed to serve their clients in even more ways.”
Through Alcom, PDQ clients will have access to an expanded range of services, including:
- Commercial offset and digital printing
- High-speed digital web inkjet production
- Direct mail and variable-data communications
- Wide-format graphics
- Online ordering portals and storefronts
- Inventory management, fulfillment and distribution
- Promotional products
- Warehousing and logistics
- Comprehensive bindery and finishing services
“For years, PDQ’s success has been built around our people, our clients and our commitment to doing whatever it takes to get the job done,” said Dave Price, Managing Partner of PDQ Print Center. “Alcom shares that same customer-first philosophy. This partnership gives our clients access to significantly broader capabilities while preserving the relationships and personal service they have come to expect from PDQ.”
The relationship between Alcom and PDQ was strengthened by Shaun M. Daney, Alcom’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Daney returned to the printing industry in 2024, joining PDQ during its acquisition of Corcoran Printing. Having maintained a long-standing relationship with Alcom, he ultimately decided to rejoin the company. In the months that followed, Daney helped deepen the partnership between Alcom and PDQ - an evolving relationship that ultimately brought together two organizations united by a customer-first approach to service.
“As someone with deep personal and professional roots in Northeastern Pennsylvania, I am incredibly excited about what this means for our clients, our employees and the region,” said Daney, who also serves as a partner and board member at Alcom. “PDQ has built something special. Our responsibility is to protect what has made the company successful while adding the capabilities and support that will help its clients and employees thrive. Together, we will continue to lead with ‘YES’ and deliver the first-class service our clients and partners deserve.”
The acquisition expands Alcom’s presence in Northeastern Pennsylvania, a region where the company already maintains strong client, business and community relationships.
The transition is being carefully coordinated by the leadership teams of both organizations to ensure continuity of service. Clients will continue working with their established contacts, and existing projects will move forward without interruption. As the organizations become fully integrated, clients will receive additional information about Alcom’s expanded capabilities and the new opportunities available to support their communication, printing, fulfillment and distribution needs.
Alcom engaged Mark R. Hahn, Senior Managing Director of Graphic Arts Advisors, LLC, to support the acquisition. Hahn and his team were instrumental in bringing the transaction together and helping guide the process to completion. Graphic Arts Advisors continues to work closely with Alcom to identify additional strategic acquisition opportunities that will strengthen the organization, expand its capabilities and support its long-term growth.
