Printing Impressions' Digital Editor Julie Greenbaum, talks with Mike Worthington, VP of sales and marketing at Wallace Carlson Printing in Minnetonka, Minn., whose firm won a one a Gold award in the 2016 Gold Ink Awards competition for "It's All in the Set Up …" promotional piece, that was entered into the Sheetfed Brochures category. The press used for this project was an eight-color Komori Lithrone G40 sheetfed offset perfector (GL840P), and the paper used was New Leaf Paper. Numerous binding and finishing techniques were also incorporated, including several French fold pages, double-thick and glued covers, stitch/sewn covers on the face, diecuts, embossing and Wire-O binding.
