CULVER CITY, CA—Looking to increase productivity, Primary Color has placed an order for an eight-color Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 sheetfed press with extended delivery. The new press will be installed this summer.
Primary Color also tapped Heidelberg to bolster its bindery with the acquisition of a Stahlfolder TH-82 folder, Stitchmaster ST 90 six pocket saddlestitcher with cover feeder and hand feed station, and a Polar RA-4 jogger with pile turner and Transomat.
The equipment installations will take place in conjunction with the printer’s planned relocation. Its Culver City, CA, headquarters will switch to El Segundo, CA, in August, while the Irvine, CA, plant will migrate to Costa Mesa, CA, in early 2008.
