Meissner Promoted to Goss International CEO

February 2009
BOLINGBROOK, IL—Goss International has appointed Jochen Meissner as its CEO. He succeeds Bob Brown, who will continue to serve on the company’s board of directors. Meissner had served as executive vice president and COO since he joined the company in 2002.

Meissner boasts extensive industry experience in management and executive positions at companies such as man- roland and Heidelberg.

Additionally, the company reported it is reducing its U.S. workforce by between 200 and 250 employees at facilities here, in New Hampshire and Texas.

Meissner said the move was designed to bring manufacturing and support resources in the United States in line with market demands for its web offset presses, finishing systems and aftermarket services.
