Kodak Launches Website to Promote Value and Power of Print

July 2007
ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 24—Kodak encourages marketers and marketing communications agencies interested in improving response rates, increasing sales, and achieving strong return on marketing investment dollars to bookmark www.PrintAmbassador.com, a new website dedicated to promoting the many uses and benefits of print.

Designed to highlight the innovative approaches for using print to reach consumers with highly targeted, relevant messages, the website provides visitors with market research, customer testimonials, return on investment studies, examples of highly successful print campaigns, and a list of print industry events. A section called “Find a Printer” connects marketers with print providers in their area that meet their production needs.

“Marketers today have more ways than ever to reach customers. However, at the same time, it has become increasingly difficult for marketers to reach customers and grab their attention,” said Jeffrey Hayzlett, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “Kodak wants to highlight for marketers the innovative ways they can use print to reach consumers. PrintAmbassador.com will help marketers realize the vital role print can play in their marketing mix.”

Hayzlett unveiled the new website last night at an event Kodak hosted for 100 members of the International Graphic Arts Educations Association (IGAEA) at the George Eastman House in Rochester, N.Y. The IGAEA, in partnership with the industry, is dedicated to sharing theories, principles techniques, and processes relating to graphic communications and imaging technology.

Hayzlett presented all 100 attendees with certificates naming them official Print Ambassadors. Visitors to www.PrintAmbassador.com can nominate themselves for Print Ambassador status or honor others that advocate for the power of print as Print Ambassadors on the site.

“By helping marketing professionals understand how print can make their communication programs more successful, we believe we are creating an environment that provides greater revenue opportunities for our customers,” summed Hayzlett.
