HURLOCK—Cenveo Inc. has upgraded its short-run publishing and customized collateral capabilities with the addition of an HP Indigo W7200 digital press. Cenveo also purchased an HP SmartStream Production Pro print server, and has installed an in-line cutting and finishing solution from Hunkeler to further streamline its journal production operations.
GREAT FALLS—Since installing a four-color Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 52 press with Anicolor inking, Printing Center USA can now print up to 90 percent of its short-run brochures and booklets, which were previously run on the online print provider's existing Heidelberg MO half-size press.
CLEVELAND—Great Lakes Integrated (GLI) has chosen to upgrade its EFI Monarch MIS with the implementation of key new modules—Monarch Planner, PrintFlow dynamic scheduling, Auto-Count direct machine interface and the Pre-Press module for integration with Kodak Prinergy.
GREENVILLE—As part of a $2.25 million investment to expand its print media solutions manufacturing operation here, emediagroup Inc. is consolidating its two facilities into an existing building, and adding new equipment to its operations. The overall expansion is expected to generate 20 new jobs during the next five years.
