Wide-Format UV Inkjet Printer Meets Quality Requirements for Fashion Work

TORRINGTON, CT—In an effort to boost efficiencies, increase output quality, speed up job turnaround and lower costs for its customers, McCoy Printing has purchased a wide-format Inca Onset S40 UV inkjet printer from Fujifilm.

“The S40’s high quality gave us the edge we were looking for,” says Andy Riberdy, president of McCoy Ltd. “A good portion of our clients do fashion work where flesh tones are critical, along with color and gloss. We’re producing near-offset quality on the S40, and our customers have been very impressed.”

HP T200 Color Inkjet Press Is Feted at Veritas Open House

BUFFALO GROVE, IL—Veritas Document Solutions, a Consolidated Graphics (CGX) company, held an open house recently to showcase its new HP T200 color inkjet web press, the second HP inkjet web press within the CGX platform. The 201⁄2˝-wide T200 will allow Veritas to develop more opportunities in high- and mid-volume digital printing, including on-demand publications, Web-to-print marketing collateral and other commercial printing applications; streamline bill and statement offerings; and enhance direct marketing programs with variable data color imaging.

CARPENTERSVILLE—Carlith LLC has chosen a suite of EFI solutions, including EFI Digital StoreFront Web-to-print, EFI Pace MIS, Pace scheduling, EFI Auto-Count direct machine interface and the SmartLinc Process Shipper freight management solution. Carlith, which was purchased by private equity firm SR Capital 
Partners last June, has also installed 
its first MGI digital press, driven by EFI Fiery technology.
