DALLAS—KBA North America has named Mark Hischar its new president and CEO. He will assume his new positions with the company on Oct. 1. Hischar replaces Holger Garbrecht, who resigned at the end of August. Prior to joining KBA, Hischar was president and CEO of W+D Machinery in Overland, KS.

DALLAS—Holger Garbrecht, KBA North America's president and CEO, will be stepping down effective Aug. 31 and is returning to Germany for what the press manufacturer termed family reasons. The company expects to name a new North American chief executive within the next several weeks.

KBA North America, a global press manufacturer, announces that Ulrich Wicke, the former web offset sales manager for the Spanish and South American markets, will be taking over the position of vice president of sales and service for the web offset division in North America while Heinz Schmid, who has been the vice president of web offset sales for KBA’s newspaper and commercial web market for an unsurpassed 30 years will remain with KBA North America an advisory position to the team.

DALLAS—Press manufacturer KBA North America has completed its move to the new 60,000-square-foot headquarters on the Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport complex for all sheetfed and web operations. Holger Garbrecht, KBA North America president and CEO, said the consolidated location will allow sales, training, service and the parts department to interact and reach customers quickly and efficiently.
