WHITE PLAINS, NY—The shareholders of Paxar Corp. approved the merger deal with Avery Dennison and Alpha Acquisition, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avery Dennison.Effective with last Friday’s closing, Paxar has submitted a request to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) for delisting.
