Recalling the PRINT 01 Show, the Long Way Home

Werner Rebsamen, Professor Emertus at RIT, Meredith, NH—I did depart Boston on American Airlines to teach a Print-Finishing Seminar at the PRINT 01 show. That evening, 400+ of us did attend a most memorable reception hosted by Muller Martini at the very top of the Sears Tower. It was a great evening, talking to professional colleagues, having a drink and watching the big, glowing sun setting on the horizon. It looked like a prelude for a great printing show to come.

Dartmouth Printing Achieves Closed-Loop Color Control with Second Goss Sunday Press

Dartmouth Printing has added a second Goss Sunday 2000 web offset press to its facility, signaling the completion of its objective to achieve automated closed-loop color control throughout the entire plant. The new press features nine units and produces a four-color signature with the ability to lay an additional PMS color.

Muller Martini to Mark 100th Concepta Press Install with Open House

The event, which is being jointly held by the Czech printer Optys and Muller Martini, will feature practical demonstrations on the new nine-color Concepta, as well as presentations on topics such as printing security products and the challenges created by direct mail.
