New updates have been added to Konica Minolta Business Solutions' Dispatcher Phoenix family of workflow automation product offerings. Dispatcher Phoenix Release 4.0 now allows end users to scan and upload files to leading cloud storage service providers such as Box, Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive. Additional new features include advanced forms processing and PDF data extraction.
Pitney Bowes Canada’s Document Imaging Solutions business has been acquired by Konica Minolta. In addition, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) will represent Pitney Bowes Canada’s mailing business in several Canadian provinces. The acquisition will expand Konica Minolta’s reach in North America.

The "Line of the Year" Award is awarded annually to the OEM whose product line is determined to be the best overall in its category, is based on the cumulative test results of all models tested in BLI's rigorous two-month laboratory evaluation.
Konica Minolta has acquired a minority stake in MGI Digital Graphic Technology, and has formed a strategic alliance aimed at accelerating the innovation and commercialization of next generation digital printing solutions. Konica Minolta will acquire a 10 percent stake in MGI, valued at €13.7m, through a reserved capital increase.

The 2013 event also happened to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the merger bewteen Konica and Minolta.
Konica Minolta has been awarded a “2013 Environment Minister’s Award for Global Warming Prevention Activity (Implementation of Countermeasures)” by the Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan, for its Green Factory Certification System initiative to prevent global warming. The system is part of Konica Minolta’s Eco Vision 2050 vision.
