ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—More than 100 customers were on hand as Komori debuted its latest flagship press, the Lithrone GX40, designed to fulfill a wide range of requirements. In addition to a maximum printing speed of 18,000 sph—even with heavy stock—the Lithrone GX40 delivers enhanced agility for color changeovers, significantly advancing print quality. Its performance and flexibility make the GX40 ideal for package printing applications as well as the high-quality color commercial printing applications.
At a recent open house in Tsukuba, Japan, Komori introduced its latest flagship press, the Lithrone GX40. The new press is designed to fulfill a wide range of the most demanding industry requirements, providing stable printing at 18,000 sheets per hour maximum printing speed (even with heavy stock) and enhanced agility for color changeovers.

Solo Printing purchased its second fully automated five-color System 38S web press, making the company an all Komori facility.
MPress, one of the largest full-service commercial printers in New Orleans, has chosen a six-color, 29" Komori Lithrone SX29 (LSX629) press to accommodate its growing business with quicker turnaround times. The company has increased its productivity by more than 50 percent since installing the press.
Cummings Printing, a full-service publication printer based in Hooksett, NH, has installed North America’s first Komori System 38D web offset press. The company chose the press to gain a competitive edge in both pricing and efficiency.
