Another successful Wide-Format Technology Summit was hosted by Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems Division, this time at the company's all-new Chicago Technology Center in Hanover Park, IL. Nearly 50 people were in attendance to experience inkjet innovations and wide-format print applications, and also receive a tour of the new 23,000-square-foot facility.

Attendees from around the world packed the Fujifilm booth at SGIA Expo 2014 to see all-new technology. Fujifilm was showing off the all-new Inca Onset R40i and the Acuity F printers, each making their North American debut on the show floor, along with the Uvistar Pro-8W, the Acuity Advance Select and the Acuity LED 1600.

At this year's SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, Fujifilm plans to debut its Inca Onset R40i, a wide-format, flatbed UV press, and the Acuity F, a high performance UV flatbed printer for the display and signage market. Live presentations and interactive demonstrations will be held at Fujufilm's "Now You Can" themed booth.

With an increase in growth and the recent acquisition and formation of Rapid Color East, Rapid Color Printing decided to upgrade to the new Fujifilm XMF workflow system. XMF is the first commercially available, JDF compliant product to integrate the next generation Adobe PDF Print Engine.

CHICAGO—More than 200 attendees turned out Monday night for the annual Gold Ink Awards & Printing Industry Hall of Fame Gala, held in the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Regency Ballroom during GRAPH EXPO 14 and CPP EXPO. The 2014 event was co-sponsored by Konica Minolta, Canon USA, Fujifilm and Domtar, and hosted by Printing Impressions magazine.
