HOUSTON—Consolidated Graphics (CGX) announced financial results for the quarter that ended Dec. 31, 2010. Quarterly revenue increased to $299.1 million, a gain of 8 percent compared to the prior year.

Its revenue for the quarter increased to $299.1 million, a gain of 8 percent. Operating income increased 52 percent to $28.2 million and net income increased 54 percent to $17.6 million. “Adjusted operating income of $30.2 million this quarter was a record for Consolidated Graphics. We achieved these results by producing first-class products for our customers and by aggressively managing our costs.

CHAMBERSBURG, PA—NPC (News Printing), the pride of Claysburg, PA, can also stake its claim as king of the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) hill for the second straight year after being named the top winner in the GPO Top 50 list of print suppliers.

For the second consecutive year, NPC (News Printing Co.) of Claysburg, PA, heads the list. More than 1,700 print suppliers obtained GPO work during FY2010. The value of all GPO work awarded to them during this period was $358 million compared to $425 million awarded in FY2009.

The group includes the Jackson Press and Total Response, both headquartered in Indianapolis. It offers sheetfed and digital printing, extremely sophisticated fulfillment and mailing solutions as well as state-of-the-art data analytics and online technology solutions.
