Digital Printing-Production Inkjet - Cut Sheet

At GRAPH EXPO 14 in Chicago from Sept. 28-Oct. 1, RISO Inc. will showcase the industry’s first in-line full color inkjet cut-sheet Print-to-Mail Solution, that offers single-pass, variable data mail production which meets the security, speed, and quality needs of a wide range of business, educational or religious institutions that mail static or personalized (variable data) printed communications.

What better place for Fujifilm's Graphic Systems Div. to host a media event on June 20 showcasing its production inkjet strategy and commitment than at Gilson Graphics, a commercial printer/marketing services provider based in Grand Rapids, MI, that's been an early adopter of cutsheet and continuous-feed Fujifilm inkjet presses?

The new Ilumina Heavyweight Champion Digital Print System, from Xanté, can print heavy stock brochures, vinyl, synthetic paper, cards, magnetic media or textured stocks on sheet sizes from 3x5" (76mmx127mm) up to 13x52" (330mmx1,321mm).

Xanté has announced the production availability of advanced barcode generation and printing on its Excelagraphix EG4200 and Impressia printing systems. Whether for packaging applications or product labeling, these barcodes cover greater than 99 percent of the barcode needs around the world.

To demonstrate its numerous printing systems to the European market, Canon recently held a two-week event at its Customer Experience Center in Germany, called Canon for Business 2014. More than 2,600 customers visited the facility, where they attended seminars and watched demos of Canon's wide-format, cutsheet and continuous-feed digital output devices.

At Ipex in London’s ExCel from March 24-29, Konica Minolta is showing how it is exploiting digital short-run packaging markets with demonstrations of its KM-1 B2+ UV inkjet color press for digital short-run production.
