Master Graphic Services Installs Perfect Binding System

ATLANTA—Trade finisher Master Graphic Services (MGS) has completed the installation of a Standard Horizon CABS (Computer-Aided Bindery System) 6000 perfect binding system. This fully-automated unit will produce both perfect-bound books and book blocks for hardcover, at speeds up to 6,000/bph.

Master Graphic Services President Aamir Anwar cited the complete automation of the system, fast changeover and the book quality for his decision to purchase the CABS system. Anwar feels MGS can now become the full-service vendor of choice, with up-to-date, automated bindery equipment offering fast turnaround on both long- and short-run volumes.

Since 1986, MGS has provided finishing services to the commercial printing and consumer packaging industries. Other services provided by MGS include foil stamping, diecutting, embossing, spot UV coating and folding/gluing.
