TC Transcontinental has acquired two businesses of Canva Group, an industrial and commercial printing holding company backed by Desjardins Capital and W Investments.
The acquired businesses are Mirazed, a Saint-Hubert, Quebec-based provider of industrial and commercial screen printing, digital printing and displays, and Intergraphics Decal, a Winnipeg-based specialist in industrial and commercial screen and digital printing. Together, they employ more than 200 people.
The two acquisitions strengthen TC Transcontinental’s position in in-store marketing and enhances its capabilities in Quebec and Western Canada, the company said in a statement.
W Investments acquired an interest in Montreal-based Canva Group in 2022, joining Desjardins Capital, a shareholder since 2019.
Founded in 1976, Montreal-based TC Transcontinental is a provider of flexible packaging in North America and in retail services in Canada.
