Busch Inc., a manufacturer of vacuum pumps and systems, has appointed Charles Kane president. Kane has spent 16 years in sales, marketing and general management roles in the electrical distribution and control industry working for Westinghouse/Cutler-Hammer and General Electric. Most recently he was controls general manager for General Electric's consumer and industrial business.
Brian Hilfrank has joined the outside sales staff of Roosevelt Paper. He brings more than 19 years of experience in the paper industry. He covers Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.
Océ announced the realignment of the sales department of the Digital Document Systems (DDS) division in the U.S. to reflect specialization in key market segments. Daniel Powell has been appointed senior vice president of sales for the division, reporting to Malkon Baboyian, president of the DDS division. Michael Roberts is vice president of sales for corporate and commercial accounts; Robert Berman serves as vice president of sales for graphic arts; Bryan Beauchamp has been tapped as vice president of sales for the public sector; and John Forbes was appointed vice president of alternate channels. Also, Dominic Caputo serves as vice president of strategic accounts.
Boise Cascade has completed the sale of its paper, forest products and timberland assets for approximately $3.7 billion to affiliates of a new company formed by Madison Dearborn Partners. Included in the sale are the headquarters building in Boise, ID. W. Thomas Stephens is the newly named CEO of Boise Cascade LLC.
