Sterling Toggle Introduces New Die Positioning System
WEST BABYLON, NY—November 19, 2013—Sterling Toggle has introduced the DPS 870 die positioning system that is designed based on the need in the marketplace for a die registration system that can accommodate the small- to medium-sized print shops and label makers. With this in mind, Sterling Toggle developed the 870 model with the capability of delivering the same time-saving benefits as its larger DPS 130 model. It can fit any press up to 870 mm including: Bobst 76, Gietz 870, 790, 720, Kluge 14x22 and 13x19, Heidelberg 10x15 and 13x19, Brausse 21x28, and Saroglia Fub.
Die positioning systems are used to lock-in foil stamping and embossing dies onto a honeycomb chase in minutes. By registering dies off-press, users can save valuable press time, without bumping dies. Customers can also cut 40 to 70 percent off their make-ready time.
