Mercier allegedly submitted 11 orders from eight different phony firms. When Apple Press attempted to deliver the jobs and bill the customers, they learned the orders were fake and the clients nonexistent.
Mercier, who left the country on a business trip for another company, was arrested Feb. 19 by U.S. Customs agents when he got off a plane at Newark International Airport in New Jersey, the Daily Local News said. He was to be extradited to Pennsylvania to face the charges.
