Net sales for the International segment in the quarter increased 3.5 percent from the fourth quarter of 2009 to $682.4 million, including $13.1 million (199 basis points) related to the acquisition of Bowne and inclusive of an $11.6 million (176 basis points) unfavorable impact of changes in foreign exchange rates. The improvement in net sales was a result of increased volume, primarily in Asia and Latin America, partially offset by continued price pressure.
