HANOVER—KBA recently completed installing a 41˝, six-color Rapida 106 sheetfed press with conventional and UV capabilities at Hanover Packaging.
WARWICK—A five-color Komori Lithrone S40 press with advanced interface (AI) and self-learning function has been added to Colonial Printing's 44,000-square-foot facility here. The printer has experienced a 50 percent reduction in electricity and solvent consumption.
DALLAS—Adding an Océ CS665 cut sheet digital color system has allowed Direct Mail Partners to expand its color and personalization services and respond to market demand for smaller targeted runs, personalization and transpromo communications.
SEATTLE—GM Nameplate has added an HP Indigo digital press and Omega Digicon Series 2 finishing line. The upgrades allow the printer to complete customer label orders five times faster with shorter lead times, aggressive pricing and improved color control. The press offers speeds to 200 fpm and 4-, 6- and 7-color PANTONE-licensed spot color emulation.
