AKRON, OH—A suspicious blue liquid bubbled up from a sewer manhole here on Tuesday, and a local printing company came under scrutiny when the substance was found to be ink.
The city and the state’s Environmental Protection Agency have targeted Star Printing with their investigations, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. Bob Lauck, a vice president with Star Printing, told the paper there was no evidence linking the sewer problem to his company.
