According to the arrest warrant, Gettings negotiated an agreement with Houchens Food Group, then told the client that Gerald Printing could not perform all of the work and would be using a second firm, Printers Ink, to meet the monthly deadlines.
The paper reported that Houchens paid both Gerald Printing and the nonexistent Printers Ink to produce in-store signage. The latter, which allegedly consisted of a post office box and bank account set up by Gettings, received $222,011.84 from Houchens between October 2004 and June 2011.
