Each year, the Pinnacle Awards program recognizes the most innovative technology that is advancing quality, capability, and productivity across the printing industry. Presented by PRINTING United Alliance, these coveted awards signal to packaging and printing professionals that a piece of hardware, equipment, software, or other product will help them stay competitive in their market.
Here, Jake Stevens, corporate communications manager at Fiery, discusses their Pinnacle Award wins from 2025, which include Fiery FreeForm Create 2.0 in the Software — Variable and Transactional category; Fiery JobFlow Pro in the Software — Prepress and Premedia category; and Fiery XF 9 in the Software — RIP category. His insights shed light on what this recognition means for the company and the broader industry.
Why were your products deserving of a Pinnacle Award?
Stevens: Fiery has led in digital front end (DFE) and workflow software innovation in digital printing for over three decades. Our technologies solve concrete, real-world problems for print providers, and always prioritize delivering cutting-edge capabilities while remaining both efficient and user-friendly. Our three Pinnacle Award winning products exemplify this spirit — FreeForm Create 2.0 for making VDP applications both deeply customizable but also easy to figure out; JobFlow Pro for creating an AI-native workflow that delivers solutions based on the operators level of technical expertise; and XF 9, which makes color control for large-format applications effortless.
Was this your first time entering the Pinnacle Awards program? If not, what keeps you coming back?
Stevens: This is the fifth consecutive year Fiery has won multiple Pinnacle Awards — something we’re extremely proud of. To us, the awards are a natural outcome of the brilliance and dedication of Fiery’s engineers. We’re the unparalleled DFE technology leader in digital print, and we work day in and day out to find new ways to make print better, faster, easier, and more reliable. It’s certainly nice to be recognized though.

What does winning a Pinnacle Award mean to Fiery?
Stevens: The Pinnacle Awards are the standard of top quality in the digital print industry. While we’re certainly proud of winning multiple Pinnacle Awards for five straight years, we don’t take it for granted either. We work hard all year round to create technologies and products that make printing easier and more capable for print providers, and that spirit of constant innovation — while also keeping the tangible goal of helping PSPs solve real problems — makes us innovation leaders, which the Pinnacle Awards recognize.

Stevens: To Fiery, in addition to getting recognition for our innovation efforts leading the cutting edge of digital print, the Pinnacle Awards are also a stamp of trust for print providers to see — a sign that says, “If you’re looking for something that is absolutely worth your time and effort to learn about and adopt in your print business, check out these Fiery products that are certified as useful, industry-leading innovations.”
Are you planning to enter again in 2026?
